Bela Joshi, Sneha Joshi, Colours Centre For Learning
How do the ways we classify people shape experiences of belonging? Labels such as normal, disabled, or independent often influence how people are perceived, included, and supported. In this conversation, Bela Joshi and Sneha Joshi draw on their work at Colours Centre for Learning and their lived experiences as a mother and sibling of an autistic person to reflect on disability, care, and inclusion. Together, they examine how social attitudes, inaccessible environments, and everyday systems shape experiences of disability, while considering what it means to build communities where responsibility for inclusion is shared.
