Community & Access

As an inclusive museum, we take a 360-degree approach to accessibility – at the museum space and through our events both online and offline! We offer workshops in Kannada, our local language, and incorporate accessibility features to make our content accessible, and take on many practices to help bring art and people together wherever we can.

At MAP, we welcome learners of every demographic and with any kind of difficulty to become an active part of the museum-going community in the city and country. We design special programmes and workshops for marginalised communities and audiences with disabilities, while simultaneously working towards making all of our programmes more accessible and inclusive as well.

If you would like to check on facilities and aids in our existing programmes, please write to us at education@map-india.org, and we’ll make it our mission to accommodate your visit. We are also always looking for new ways to bring people closer to art, and are open to suggestions on how we could do better.
