Herbarium Workshop

Following the ethno-medicinal garden walk and visit to the university herbarium, this programme extends into a herbarium workshop.

Here, participants draw from their learnings from the repository and create their own portable herbariums to take home. Alongside learning traditional taxonomical principles for plant identification and nomenclature, we archive these plants as living – through the names and ways we know to use them, thereby building layered, evolving understandings of  the plant world.
