Draw with PencilJam

When

July 20, 2025
10:30 am - 1:00 pm

If you find joy in drawing intricate patterns or practicing observational sketching, we invite you to be part of this relaxed and inspiring session. Set against the backdrop of the museum’s vibrant exhibits, this gathering offers an open, creative space for artists of all skill levels. Whether you’re looking to unwind through sketching, discover new perspectives, or simply enjoy the act of drawing in a shared environment, this is a chance to slow down and truly observe the world around you. Connect with fellow art lovers, exchange ideas, and share your work in an informal, supportive setting that celebrates creativity in all its forms.

You will need to carry your own:
– Sketchbook or A4 paper
– Pencil (wood or mechanical) and eraser
– Gel pens or fineliners for outlining
– Colour brush pens, sketch pens, or colour pencils (no wet media)

Penciljam

Penciljam started in 2009 as a small group of artists who gathered together to sketch from life. Over these past 15 years, Penciljam has conducted over 1000 on-location drawing events, and the Penciljam community have created tens of thousands of Artworks of their localities and cultural heritage.

Penciljam’s primary aim is to encourage Citizen Arts. We believe that the Visual Arts must be accessible to everyone. Our Community features people from all walks of life, and of all ages – bound by a mutual love for drawing. Penciljam is a project of The Nabachika Foundation.
