Workshops with Heat in Bangalore, ATREE
Join us for an engaging exploration of your ward’s urban landscape! In this interactive session, participants will dive into the world of local climate action, discussing everything from water and energy to mobility and waste. Through lively group activities and role-playing, you will reflect on what makes these systems thrive, identify vulnerabilities, and brainstorm creative solutions.
Together, you will design a hands-on action plan for your chosen system, turning challenges into exciting opportunities for community collaboration and a brighter, more sustainable future for the city!

Manan Bhan
Manan Bhan is a Systems Researcher & Practitioner and is currently a Fellow in Residence at the Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment (ATREE) in Bengaluru,India. His action research work at ATREE is highly diverse as well as innovative, with sustainable land use, climate action, and human well-being at its core.
Ujjvala Krishna
Ujjvala Krishna is an urban researcher working on climate action in the built environment. A architect by training, she is currently working on a project that has been exploring the effects of heat at the ward level in Bangalore city at ATREE. She is always keen to explore connections between the built, design, and policy, and negotiations between various systems involved in the process of design.
