Join us for an ambient musical performance with Simar/madhumalti using sounds and melodies found on coastal travels, and while surfing the internet; accompanied by visuals collected from both digital and physical worlds.
Snippets of distant bells, crashing waves, floral poetry, login sounds, old tape recordings, and more come together to take listeners on a dreamy sound journey.
This event is held in conjunction with our exhibition, mild tooth of milk, currently on display at the Dutch Warehouse in Fort Kochi.

Simar/madhumalti
Simar/madhumalti is an artist, designer, and film-maker currently based in Bangalore who works and experiments across sound, visuals, film, code, websites, games, writing, and more. She likes working with informal research and archives, building physical and digital worlds, and making things that are imbued with beauty, curiosity, grace, and play. Simar enjoys travelling, learning new things, collecting trinkets and backstories, surfing the internet, and running errands.
