Join us for a screening of Margaret Mee and the Moonflower, a documentary chronicling the life and work of British botanist and artist Margaret Mee. Directed by Malu de Martino, the film follows Mee’s expeditions to the Amazon basin, where she meticulously documented rare flora—including the elusive night-blooming moonflower (Selenicereus grandiflorus)—through detailed botanical illustrations.
Presented alongside MAP’s Paper Gardens: Art, Botany and Empire exhibition, this screening celebrates Mee’s legacy as both an artist and conservation advocate.
