Kush Sethi is a gardener, forager and educator based out of New Delhi. Formally trained in Green Chemistry, he transitioned to urban ecology through field research in the Delhi Ridge. Inspired by ecosystem resiliency, he began a gardening practice around understanding problems in manicured urban landscaping and finding wilder, self-sustainable approaches.
Kush has visited to teach gardening and ecology modules at the School of Planning and Architecture, Ashoka University, Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Tech, Azim Premji University, IIAD, and Delhi’s Dr. BR Ambedkar Schools of Specialized Excellence.
He has consulted on community focussed sustainability projects for Arts and Culture institutes like Deutsches Museum Munich, Site Gallery Sheffield, KultureForum Witten and Übersee-Museum.
