Some stories glimmer softly at the edges – of winged messengers, moonlit rivers, and gentle guardians who once walked beside the gods. We found them waiting at MAP’s In Celestial Company, and felt quietly drawn into their world of myth and wonder.

This Family Day at MAP, The LooRoo Club invites you to step into that world, where art meets story and imagination grows through nature’s touch. Together, we’ll listen, create, and dream among celestial beings and timeless legends.

There will be colours to play with, stories to unfold, and a little magic waiting to be found.

Some things are best discovered slowly, and this morning will be one of them.

This event is part of Family Day.

The LooRoo Club

The LooRoo Club (TLC) is a little world of big adventures. TLC creates playful, nature-inspired experiences for kids – where stories come alive, curiosity runs wild, and messy hands mean happy hearts.

Sangeetha Arjun

Sangeetha Arjun is a nutritionist who accidentally discovered her passion for working with children. She worked at a beautiful school in South Goa, nestled in a coconut grove and bordered by a lovely river. Her days were filled with interactions with children from around the world, reading stories by the sea, counting shells, taking barefoot walks, and learning through nature-led experiences and play. Upon returning to Bengaluru, she wanted to recreate a space for children to learn alongside nature. She aimed to bring the outdoors into the classroom, giving children the opportunity to explore the magic of nature! Currently, she runs a beautiful outdoor restaurant with her husband in Bangalore, she’s working on becoming a certified Play-Based Educator, has two sons, 6 and 3 years old, and absolutely loves curating experiences at The LooRoo Club!

Lakshmi Kaushik

Lakshmi Kaushik grew up on the outskirts, surrounded by vast outdoor spaces that nurtured her deep connection to nature. Gardening alongside her grandmother instilled in her a profound appreciation for the earth’s wonders. This upbringing laid the foundation for her career as a master of architecture in design and an artist, seamlessly blending natural elements into her work. From sustainable designs to intricate papercut art, her creations reflect her love for the outdoors. Co-founding The LooRoo Club allowed Lakshmi to share this passion with her 7 year-old son, Rudra, as they explore and learn together. Beyond the confines of city life, Lakshmi envisions building a farm with her husband, merging her architectural vision with his agricultural expertise, to create a haven where nature’s tranquility fosters their and connection with the land.
