Srivatsan Sankaran
Conceptualised and facilitated by Srivatsan Sankaran, this session encourages participants to engage with the spatial atmosphere through photographic observation and image-based storytelling. As participants move through the Living Botanicals environment, they will reflect on how movement, body language, and silent expression can be translated into compelling visual narratives—parallels that resonate deeply with sign language and Deaf visual culture.
The session also introduces perspectives on how photography and AI can interact with visual languages, opening new possibilities for documenting gestures, expressions, and moments of connection. Through the process of photographing and interpreting the space, participants will experiment with telling stories through images inspired by the environment and their own expressions.
By combining a guided photo walk with collaborative visual exploration, the workshop creates a space for participants to interpret gesture, communication, and space through their own visual narratives.
