Popula Dabba

When

July 19, 2025
3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Popula dabba is the Telugu word for a spice box, or masala box, that is a staple in most Indian kitchens.
Food can be a powerful tool to unlock and share personal stories. We invite participants to explore their individual narratives through the collaborative act of cooking and eating together, evoking the sublime connection between food, memory, and identity.

During the workshop, the participants and the facilitator, Vamsi, will engage in conversations about narrative and storytelling practices, cooking techniques, visual art and theatre. This workshop is for those with an existing practice or those looking to develop one.

The event is supported by Goethe Institut, Bangalore
