Prashanth C

Prashanth C is a self-taught digital artist, specializing in surrealistic and abstract art. Prashanth has been passionately creating works that juxtapose extreme subjects within a single frame, bringing a unique and thought-provoking surrealism to life. He uses digital collage as a technique to weave together pieces of real, everyday images to create artwork with political and sociological undertones. In the process, he often questions the inequalities in the world around him, especially his own subconscious biases. His art is also purposive in illustrating his anti-caste and atheistic views.

Drawing inspiration from the Dadaism art movement and the influential work of Jean-Michel Basquiat, Prashanth infuses personal ideologies and hidden layers into every piece, whether it be personal projects or commissioned works. This signature style is evident in the diverse range of digital art, including movie poster designs and album cover art.

Prashanth has designed posters and artwork for many independent and arthouse movies. Some notable works are ‘Laapataa ladies(2023)’ oscar campaign poster, ‘Goldfish(2022)’ movie poster, and ‘Bokshi(2025)’. His work occasionally also goes beyond statics – experimenting with mix-media animation and motion graphics.
