Désiré Feuerle

Désiré Feuerle is a distinguished art collector, curator, and consultant, renowned for his innovative approach to art curation and his commitment to fostering cultural dialogue across disciplines. He is the founder of The Feuerle Collection in Berlin, a private museum housed in a meticulously transformed World War II bunker by architect John Pawson.

Feuerle is also a sought-after speaker and lecturer, having presented at institutions like Oxford University and international events such as Art Basel and ARCOmadrid, Frieze/Frieze Masters, London. His expertise extends to global platforms, as evidenced by his appointments as an International Trustee of the Museo del Prado in Madrid, a member of the International Council of the
Tate Foundation in London, and a member of the International Council of the Berggruen Museum in Berlin. He also serves on the Board of the KW Institute for Contemporary Art and the Berlin Biennale in Berlin, and is a member of the International Council of Collectors of The Cleveland Museum of Art in Cleveland. In 2024, Feuerle was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Stimson Center in Washington, D.C., underscoring his influence in bridging cultural and political dialogues.

Feuerle’s pioneering vision has earned him accolades, including being named among Artnet’s Top 100 Art Collectors in 2016. His work continues to redefine how art is experienced, creating spaces where history, culture, and innovation converge to engage the senses and emotions.
