MAP premieres its short film, The Business of Dreams, produced in conjunction with its online exhibition of the same name. The film features photographer Suresh Punjabi whose Suhag Studio forms the central subject of the exhibition, describing his personal experiences documenting Nagda over the last four decades.
The screening was followed by a conversation between Punjabi and the filmmaker Naveed Mulki, delving deeper into the nature of the collaborative practice that not only informs the film’s production but also Punjabi’s own portraiture practice.
