Accessible Parking

Limited accessible parking is available within MAP premises for people with disabilities and the elderly. This must be pre-booked before your visit by sending a request to shailesh.kulal@map-india.org or access@map-india.org.

The entire building, including entrance and toilets, is accessible for people using wheelchairs and mobility aids.

While we encourage visitors to bring to MAP their own mobility aids, a manual wheelchair is available, free of charge, on a first-come, first-serve basis. This can be requested at the info desk on the ground floor.

Mazumdar-Shaw Auditorium

The Mazumdar-Shaw Auditorium, on the first floor, is fitted with hearing loops to facilitate people who use hearing aids. There are dedicated areas for wheelchairs which can be placed next to a seat which can be reserved for a caregiver. If you are planning to attend an event in the Auditorium and you are a wheelchair user, we recommend you contact shailesh.kulal@map-india.org or access@map-india.org to reserve your place in advance.

Quiet room

A quiet room is available on the Terrace for visitors who might experience sensory overload.

Dining / cafeteria

There is an accessible cafeteria on the Lower Ground Floor where visitors can sit and eat.

Induction loops

The HDFC Ltd. Learning Centre (Lower Ground Floor) and the Mazumdar-Shaw Auditorium (First Floor) are equipped with hearing loops that can be used by visitors using hearing aids with a T-coil switch.

Please Note: All requested facilities can be arranged on first-come, first-serve basis by contacting us at either shailesh.kulal@map-india.org or access@map-india.org.
