Think you’ve got the quickest hands in Indian Sign Language (ISL)? Ready to put your knowledge to the test? Join us for an unforgettable event that combines fun, competition, and a whole lot of learning!

Sign or Hands Down

Four teams of two will face off in an exciting series of ISL challenges, from ISL Twisters to ISL 1-10, each round will push your quick thinking and reflexes to the limit.

Who will take home the win? The fastest thinkers and most agile signers will reign supreme!

It’s all about showing off your skills and thinking on your feet!

ISL Trivia – Kahoot!

It’s not just about speed—it’s about knowledge too! Test your ISL expertise in a fast-paced Kahoot quiz where the audience will race to answer questions and claim the top spot. Who will come out on top as the ISL trivia champion? Come join us and see it yourself.

This event is part of the International Week of the Deaf and a special collaboration between MAP and Hear a Million (HAM).

Deepak K C

Deepak K C works with Hear A Million and EnAble India to promote ISL Creative Studio, preserving Indian Sign Language within the Deaf community. Through talk shows and programs, he creates spaces for engagement, creativity, and inclusion.

Hardeep Singh

Hardeep Singh currently works as an Inclusion Coordinator and Designer at the Museum of Art & Photography, perhaps for the first time as a Deaf artist in Museum Spaces. Born in New Delhi, he comes from a family of Deaf artists, particularly influenced by his father and grandmother, who nurtured his love for the arts. One of his original creations was featured in a plate collection by The Plated Project (2021). He also made a special appearance signing an original poem in the Indian film If I Could Tell You, directed by Niharika Popli (2024). 

For Hardeep, art provides a unique way to express his creativity. He aims for his work to convey the experiences of Deaf people and the challenges they face due to language barriers. Through his art, he hopes to bridge the communication gap between Deaf and non-deaf communities, fostering greater understanding and collaboration. He aspires to inspire positive change and encourage support from people across different walks of life.

In his free time, Hardeep enjoys creating art, listening to music, and reading lyrics.

Himanshu Kansal

Himanshu Kansal, a graphic designer at Hear A Million and Freedom to Sign, is an ISL expert with ISL Interpreters Fellowship. His creative work draws inspiration from the Deaf community, monuments, nature, and art exhibitions.

Manju SK

Manju SK is an experienced Indian Sign Language (ISL) educator, accessibility advocate, and community leader dedicated to promoting equality and inclusion for the Deaf community. She is currently an ISL Professor at Azim Premji University and an ISL Teacher and Trainer at SignAble Communications Pvt. Ltd., where she designs and delivers training programs for multinational companies such as Wells Fargo and Deloitte , fostering inclusive practices through both online and offline sessions.

She is the Founder of Amazing ISL, an initiative that develops creative ISL videos to support linguistic learning and spread awareness, making sign language more accessible to wider audiences.

Her past experience includes serving as a Soapstone Fellow with Hear A Million and EnAble India , where she created ISL courses, produced educational videos, and mentored participants at the Deaf Leadership Program Youth Camp. She is also a *core team member of DeafWomenToo, advocating for accessibility, gender equality, and Deaf rights.
