In collaboration with UNESCO, FICCI, Bangalore International Centre, Avid Learning, TeamWorks Art, and Art Links Learning, MAP invites you to The Bengaluru Cultural Tracker: Intersections: Arts and Culture, a conference organised as part of the Culture Working Group under India’s G20 Presidency.
Culture, in all its manifestations, has a profound transformative impact on human lives. As the vehicle for intergenerational transmission of knowledge, culture provides vital resources to address the myriad challenges of our times, directly nurturing diverse, resilient, and sustainable societies. At the global level, culture has been recognised as an enabler of growth and sustainable development. Strengthening dialogue and cooperation among the G-20 member states is central to address challenges linked with the impact of digital transformation on the cultural sector.
In this day-long conference, industry experts, policymakers, and cultural practitioners will come together to advance the dialogue on the journey from analog to digital platforms, and on the use of digital technologies for the protection and preservation of cultural heritage. The dialogues and discussions will address key policy issues, challenges and solutions that drive the cultural sector. This will in turn be summed up by UNESCO and presented as a white paper at the forthcoming G-20 Cultural Tracker.
