Thinking Through Film

Documentary filmmaker Deepa Dhanraj speaks to film critic Shrikath Srinivasan on her creative practice and how it has evolved over the years. Together, they will trace the evolution of her work, discussing how she approaches research, collaboration, and the act of observing on camera. The conversation will also reflect on political and social questions that inform her filmmaking, and how shifting contexts have shaped the themes she engages with.

Prior to the event, guests are welcome to attend a curator-led guided walk of VISIBLE/INVISIBLE by Arnika Ahldag, marking the exhibition’s final weekend.
