Registrations are now open for Love Makes the Cut! We collaborated with Lekh-Haq to curate three short films that explore the theme of ‘love’. Discover films that represent and imagine manifold expressions of the intricacies, abundance, and connectedness that can be found in the diverse experiences of love.
The film playlist includes:
Morome Ringiaai, dir. by Chinmoy Barma
Paanchika (Five Pebbles), dir. by Ankit Kothari
Kinaara, dir. by Anureet Watta
After a week of viewing these films, join us on 19th February for a conversation between the filmmakers — Ankit Kothari, Anureet Watta, and Chinmoy Barma, co-hosted by Terence-Hari Fernandes and video content creator, Debangana Kundu. The conversation will explore the technical and creative aspects of these films and filmmaking while having honest conversations about the pitfalls and successes of these works.
Upon registration, you will receive a link to the viewing room where the films will be made available from February 12–20 as well as the Zoom Webinar link for the conversation being hosted on February 19th.
Presented in partnership with Lekh-Haq and supported by the Our Shared Cultural Heritage (OSCH) programme led by the British Council.
