Registrations for this workshop are now closed as we are fully booked out.
In this workshop, German photographer Nicolaus Schmidt breaks down photographic concepts and introduces participants to working methods in the medium. The workshop will begin with a guided tour of his exhibition, India Tecton, which will open on 13th May, 2023 at the Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan. Participants will then move on to MAP for the next few days, to practise these concepts and methods in the environs and neighbourhood of MAP. The workshop will culminate in the production of prints from these engagements and a sharing and showcase of the same.
This workshop is open to all, and no prior experience in photography is required. Participants will need a camera with an aperture setting, and phone cameras will not be sufficient.
The workshop is organised in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Bangalore.
