Inclusion Lead

Meghana Rao

Meghana leads MAP’s Inclusion initiatives including designing, implementing and leading MAP’s Inclusion strategy, advising leadership on Inclusive policies and culture-building, as well as setting measurable inclusion goals across MAP’s departments.

Meghana (She/They) identifies as a Queer Feminist, is trained in Jazz, Contemporary Dance and has been a Principal dancer with the Shiamak Davar Dance Company. They bring over 18 years of non-profit experience including working across national/international non-profit organisations in different capacities, and being part of social justice and feminist movements. Qualified in Movement therapy they have worked extensively with persons living with HIV, children with disabilities and children with cerebral palsy. Meghana has a degree in Commerce, a post-graduate in Advertising and Communications (both from Mumbai University), and a post-graduate in Gender Studies from Delhi University.
