Ricky Kej, Annette Philip, Berklee Indian Ensemble and More Set for Art Is Life: SoundFrames Digital Festival

“Bengaluru’s Museum of Art & Photography (MAP) has teamed up with Berklee College of Music in Boston to curate and produce a three-day digital festival called Art Is Life: SoundFrames, taking place between December 3rd and 5th online.

Performances recorded for the three-day event include Grammy-winning composer Ricky Kej (who is co-curating a piece called Bursts of Sound), the Berklee Indian Ensemble, vocalist-composer and educationist Annette Philip and her Women of the World vocal collective (Philip will also conduct a vocal masterclass), a cappella group Penn Masala, folk-rockers Kabir Café and more. Seasoned artist Rajeev Raja and his company Brand Musiq will be unpacking “sonic brand identities,” while fusion act SubraMania – violinist-composer Ambi Subramaniam and singer-songwriter Bindu Subramaniam – will also perform.”
