A virtual fest that fuses art with music

“Museums can’t just be spaces where people come in and look at objects. It has to be a space for ideas and conversations. Art isn’t just something that is hanging on the walls of a gallery. It is a part of our lives,” says Kamini Sawhney, the director of Museum of Art & Photography (MAP), which opened in Bengaluru last year. It was this rethinking of the relationship between a museum and its audience that birthed Art is Life, a digital festival which returns for its second edition next month (December 3-5) and can be accessed on Map-india.org/.”
