Zine workshop at Vadehra Art Gallery, Delhi, 2018. Courtesy Renuka Rajiv.
Zines provide us with a creative canvas to explore our personal narratives and thoughts, as well as our shared stories and identities. Their low-cost reproducibility makes them a wonderful medium for sharing our ideas with each other. They have often been a medium for activism and resistance, as well as served as a great form for self-expression.
Join us for a hands-on zine making workshop with artist Renuka Rajiv as they take us through the various steps involved in making a collective zine. The session will begin with making original pages using drawing and collages and culminate in a collective zine that each of us get to take home.
This programme is exclusively for 18–25 year olds.
This session is conducted as part of our engagements for the MAP OSCH Collective. The MAP OSCH Collective is a community for young people (18-25 year olds) to engage with the arts and culture sector. The collective is for, of and by young people — to explore our shared identities and interests through art.
This event is fully booked.
