A selection of vinyl records by On The Jungle Floor.
Join us for an exclusive listening session as vinyl enthusiasts and archivists Akhil Hemdev & Nishant Mittal dive into the beginning of the Indian disco scene in the 80s, looking at how western influences helped Indian music find its groove.
This listening session is a collaboration between On The Jungle Floor, Digging in India and MAP.
Brought to you by MAP’s youth collective, this engagement is part of our AUD/VID series encouraging discovery of old and new music, film, video, sound art and media — looking at junctions of art, youth culture and audio-visual media. A step closer towards conscious consumption through listening, viewing and sharing together.
This programme is exclusively for 18–25 year olds
This session is conducted as part of our engagements for the MAP Youth Collective. The Youth Collective is a community for young people (18-25 year olds) to engage with the arts and culture sector. The collective is for, of and by young people — to explore our shared identities and interests through art.
This event is fully booked.
