Delve into a transformative six-day journey where participants uncover the intricacies of storytelling and cinematic creation. Through hands-on exercises and genre exploration, budding filmmakers collaborate with fellow enthusiasts to breathe life into their creative visions.
No fancy equipment is required—just bring your enthusiasm and a mobile phone, and Ridah Zaman, a Bangalore-based filmmaker, will guide you through the rest. From brainstorming ideas to capturing scenes and editing footage, you’ll gain practical skills and insights into the art of filmmaking.
Join us for an unforgettable experience where you’ll not only learn the craft of filmmaking but also forge lasting connections with fellow storytellers. Summer at MAP is your opportunity to unleash your creativity and see your cinematic dreams come to life on the big screen.
Note to Parents/Guardians:
1. Participants are requested to carry along a mobile phone with a basic camera feature on all days of the workshop. Participants are also requested not to bring any other gadgets or devices such as digital cameras and laptops with them to the workshop.
2. Participants are to be dropped off between 10.30-11.00am and picked up between 4.00-4.30pm from the HDFC Ltd Learning Centre at MAP on the Lower ground floor.
3. Name and contact of the person picking up and dropping off the participant should be shared with the MAP Education team at the time of the first drop off. Any change in this during the course of the week should be communicated with the team beforehand.
4. Drinking water is available on the museum premises. Participants are requested to carry their own bottles to fill water.
5. Lunch break will be from 1-2:00 pm. Participants are requested to carry lunch and snacks which can be consumed on the premises.
6. Parents/guardians are requested to share any allergies that participants may have and also communicate any accessibility requirements.
7. Participants are requested to dress in loose and comfortable clothes. Some workshops may require working on the floor.
8. Photographs will be taken during the workshops. A consent form for the same will be shared. Participants may choose to opt out.
