Join us for a collage-making workshop with artist Alexander Gorlizki. New York-based artist Gorlizki is best known for creating a unique visual language drawing from miniature painting traditions of the subcontinent. He works in collaboration with miniature artist Riyaz Uddin and the Pink City Studio, based in Jaipur, India.
Taking inspiration from Gorlizki’s practice, participants in this session will be guided to create playful, layered collages around personal photographs to tell all kinds of new stories: funny, fantastic, reflective or poetic!
This session is open to 10-year-olds and above. We encourage families to participate together and to reimagine their stories collaboratively.
This event is organised in conjunction with MAP’s exhibition, What the Camera Didn’t See: Alexander Gorlizki / Pink City Studio.
This event is fully booked.
