Symphony Orchestra Of India
Join us for an evening of chamber music by the musicians of the SOI.
The Symphony Orchestra Of India (SOI), housed at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), Mumbai, is India’s only full-time professional orchestra. It was founded in 2006 by NCPA Chairman Khushroo Suntook and virtuoso violinist Marat Bisengaliev, who serves as the music director. In the fifteen years since its founding, the SOI has performed with several of today’s leading conductors and soloists, and thrilled audiences at the NCPA, around India and the world.
This event is hosted in collaboration with the Bangalore International Centre and the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), Mumbai.
