Join us for Dramas of Discrimination brought to you by the Ambedkar Reading Circle!
Participate in a unique workshop that blends systems-thinking and drama-based activities. Develop the skills to recognise and address discrimination in academic and professional settings. Grounded in the principles of fraternity and allyship, this workshop aspires to collaboratively shape a more just, liberal, and equal society for diverse communities.
The session includes a mix of paper-and-pen exercises and dramaturgical activities aimed at prompting and sensitising individuals and peer groups to identify and intervene in instances of discrimination.
This workshop has limited places. Register now to secure your spot.
The Ambedkar Reading Circle (ARC) is an anti-caste collective established in Bangalore in April 2023, inspired by Dr. Ambedkar’s call to “Organise.” ARC is dedicated to creating public spaces for anti-caste dialogue, raising awareness on caste and systemic oppression, and providing marginalised voices with a platform to share their work. Through diverse events, including book readings, poetry circles, workshops, and lecture series, ARC fosters community-driven learning and intellectual engagement on caste and related topics. By reclaiming public spaces for these discussions, ARC works toward building an inclusive community committed to dismantling caste hierarchies and promoting social justice.
