A safe space for trans and non-binary folks to come together and speak openly about their anxieties and feelings around the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Amendment Bill, 2026.

Schedule

11:00 am – 1:00 pm
A guided check-in to reflect on how our bodies and emotions are holding this moment, connect with what we need, and try to access grounding amidst the challenges. Facilitated by Ananya and Sanjay, counselling psychologists.

1:00 pm – 1:45 pm
Break

1:45 pm – 3:30 pm
Doodling as an art form and grounding practice, facilitated by Debbie Das—artist, designer, and transgender rights advocate.

Registration is compulsory. This event is exclusively for members of the queer community.

ASQ, or “All Sorts of Queer” is a safe space for you if you are: queer(1), and not a cis(2) man. ASQ is a peer-to-peer support group for LBT* persons. We are an evolving community that is Democratic, Leaderless, Inclusive, Respectful and Non-commercial.

Debbie Das

Debbie is a graphic designer, writer, brand consultant, and public speaker. They specialize in crafting visual identity systems for brands. Their work supports organisations that cater to the environment, women, queer folks, and marginalized communities.

Ananya Samanta

Ananya is a counselling psychologist. Their work includes providing therapy to individuals from various backgrounds, including queer and trans clients, clients from marginalized backgrounds, and neurodivergent clients.
