India Art Fair, Raw Mango, and the Museum of Art & Photography (MAP) are pleased to invite you to a special evening beginning with a guided walk exploring the museum’s latest exhibition ‘Chay Reds, Ferrous Black: The untold stories of Indian trade textiles in Sri Lanka’ followed by a performance by the Keelaka Dance Company.
Specially conceptualised to bring the exhibition to life through dance, the performance will explore the motif and iconography of Kataragama Skanda Deviyo and his two consorts, Devanai and Valli as depicted on an 18th century temple flag and banner.
