What makes a portrait? Is it the face, the body, or something else? In this curated and interactive walkthrough, participants will explore Jyoti Bhatt’s approach to portraiture and look at how he reimagines this with his experimentations.
Jyoti Bhatt is an Indian artist known for his printmaking and photographic work. This retrospective exhibition showcases Bhatt’s photographic endeavours and the works include his documentation of rural communities, portraits of other artists, and his experiments with photography and printmaking.
This walkthrough will be led by the MAP Education team and is a free event, however exhibition tickets are applicable.
