An intrinsic part of MAP’s Education & Outreach mission is to provide professional training and upskilling programmes for educators. At MAP, we want to emphasise the importance of integrating arts in curriculums for primary and secondary schools and hope to contribute to the designing of new and holistic learning environments for the youth of our country.
Our workshops for educators can offer useful skill development exercises and exposure to new pedagogical approaches. Introducing arts-driven and arts-integrated education in the classroom can be a valuable addition for teachers, as it enables students to develop communication skills, as well nurtures critical and lateral thinking skills. Additionally, using artworks in MAP’s collection, our team creates lesson plans that can be used by educators in classrooms or at home without any prior training. These can help educators facilitate unique experiences for learners, exploring new avenues of thinking and interdisciplinary learning. Contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more about our programming for educators.
MAP is committed to the issue of accessibility and we welcome learners and visitors of all abilities to participate in our programmes. If you have any kind of difficulties related to seeing, hearing, speaking, or learning, please write to us and we will try our best to make the necessary adjustments in our programme to accommodate your needs.
