Discover the vibrant world of Indian textiles through this ten-part online lecture series led by independent researcher and curator Mayank Mansingh Kaul. Trace the transregional histories, material techniques, and market dynamics that have shaped Indian textiles for centuries — and uncover how these rich traditions continue to influence art, design, aesthetics, and architecture today.
As the first formal offering of its kind, the series brings together leading scholars, curators, researchers, makers, and entrepreneurs to present a rare blend of academic and practice-based insights into textile design, making, and afterlives.
