Seeing Differently: Musical Interpretations of Artworks

Dipak Marwah, Rajeev Raja, Kamini Sawhney

How do you listen to an artwork? What would a painting sound like? How would you recognise art if you couldn’t see it? This session allowed audiences to experience the sonic identity of art, the making of a musical logo or MOGO as well as the process of capturing the essence of a painting using sound. BrandMusiq taught audiences to identify and experience the crux of an artwork by applying the science of sound and the art of music.

Brandmusiq, founded by Rajeev Raja and the late J S Mani, creates sonic identities for organisations that connect with consumers at a deeper, more subliminal level.

This session was curated in conjunction with our online exhibition with BrandMusiq, Sights and Sounds.
