The Durbari Qawwals of Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya present an intimate Qawwali session exploring themes of love, devotion and longing for the divine through compositions of Amir Khusrau, Bulleh Shah and others. Niazi Nizami Brothers represent the continuity of their family’s musical lineage and were trained in the discipline of their Qawwali within the ecosystem of the Hazarat Nizamuddin Auliya Dargah.
Spiritual and sometimes playful, the compositions are part of a vast library that has been created and developed through the interaction between several generations of musicians within the family.
