Bangalore International School
Age Group: 6 years
Session Duration: 2.5 hours
Participating Institution: Bangalore International School
Tails and Tales digitally brought together a selection of artworks from the museum collection and beyond – across time periods and mediums – to introduce participants to the prevelance of animals in art and explore their real and symbolic significance in the lived world. Learners were introduced to ideas of anthropomorphism and zoomorphism, and the relationship of animals to storytelling was interrogated.
The workshop was designed as an interactive session including stories, games and a creative output exercise where the learners created their own hybrid animals.
As part of MAP Outreach, it was delivered for two batches at the campus of the Bangalore International School.
