DESCRIPTION:This workshop invites participants to explore touch\, imaginati
 on and feminist storytelling through making. Surrounded by Eisma’s playf
 ul and tactile world\, participants will create their own hand puppets usi
 ng socks\, fabric\, and simple craft materials.\n\nWe invite you to bring 
 your stories on themes of care\, transformation\, and the power of gentle 
 voices. Which have been important creatures\, human or not\, that have hel
 d you when you have needed it? \n\nDrawing from feminist perspectives tha
 t value vulnerability\, creativity\, and shared experience\, we encourage 
 you to give shape and colour to these stories and characters\, and let the
  sock become puppet characters\, messengers of small\, personal\, and coll
 ective stories that are there to speak and listen\, resist or comfort us.\
 n\nThis event is held in conjunction with our exhibition\, mild tooth of m
 ilk\, currently on display at the Dutch Warehouse in Fort Kochi.
