DESCRIPTION:Join Bangalore-based\, self-taught artist Nirupa Rao for a bota
 nical sketching workshop inspired by her artistic practice and unique appr
 oach to observing and representing the natural world. Through guided exerc
 ises\, participants will learn how sketching plants in black and white can
  provide a strong foundation for botanical illustration\, helping develop 
 an understanding of structure\, volume\, form\, and shading.\n\nThis intro
 ductory workshop is open to beginners as well as those with prior experien
 ce. Participants who have been practicing are welcome to bring colour medi
 a of their choice to further explore their work.\n\nThis workshop is prese
 nted in conjunction with the exhibition Paper Gardens: Art\, Botany and Em
 pire.
