  these special drop-in sessions for a chance to get a closer look and unde
 rstanding of unique photographs and postcards from MAP’s collections. Th
 e works on view relate to the Dancers in Art episode of MAP’s Museums W
 ithout Borders series. This episode\, produced in collaboration with The T
 oledo Museum of Art\, explores the agency of women in performing art\, and
  how the idea of a "courtesan" changed over time with the rise of British 
 power in India. \n\nMAP team members Priya Lewis and Khushi Bansal take y
 ou behind the scenes of the episode and walk you through the works display
 ed\, discussing each object and allowing you to get a closer look at the s
 tory behind it. \n\nLinking collections globally\, Museums Without Border
 s is a unique digital collaboration between MAP and institutions in India 
 and across the world. Ranging from six to ten minutes\, each episode in th
 is series juxtaposes an artwork from MAP with an object from a partner mus
 eum exploring commonalities and differences in style\, subject or narrativ
 e. \n\nWe will host two sessions\, one at 12:30 PM and another at 3:30 PM
 . Feel free to drop in at either. \n\nThis event has been conceptualised 
 as part of Unboxing BLR Habba 2023.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;
