 n\nA photographer\, while walking from the estuary to the source of the wa
 terless Kaveri River\, abandons his journey after encountering a woman who
 se image could not be recorded by his camera. Six years after dismissing t
 hat occurrence as a malady of the summer heat\, he finds a note left behin
 d in a photo archive about the very same woman. He begins another journey 
 in search of that woman\, following the scent of absence in the photograph
 s of the archive. \n\nThe screening will be followed by a conversation wi
 th the filmmaker Karthik Subramanian\, facilitated by Aayati Sengupta from
  the exhibitions team at MAP. \n\n\n\nThis event is part of Beneath the Tu
 rning Sky programming.
