DESCRIPTION:With the rise of data analytics\, digital platforms and artific
 ial intelligence\, the datafication of labour has become central to the di
 gital economy. Bridging policy and artistic practice\, the University of A
 msterdam and Aapti Institute's ongoing data work project seeks to critical
 ly explore this conjuncture. As part of this initiative\, the Data Work in
  the Digital Economy grant will support new creative media projects that u
 nearth\, explore\, and critique the digital economy in India from the pers
 pectives of the labour that supports and sustains it.\n\nJoin us for an ev
 ening of engagement and encounter between technology\, policy and the arts
 . Brief presentations by artists Anisha Baid\, Debarun Sarkar\, Srinivas H
 arivanam and Tara Kelton will be followed by a transdisciplinary conversat
 ion between Marialaura Ghidini\, paulie/paul anthony george and Priyam Vad
 alia\, moderated by Mila T Samdub.
