 s workshop introduces participants to cyanotype process through direct eng
 agement with materials\, light\, and composition. Rooted in the legacy of 
 early photographic image-making\, the session moves from technical underst
 anding to exploratory making.\n\nBeginning with an introduction to the his
 tory and context of cyanotype\, participants then prepare coated surfaces\
 , compose images using botanical specimens\, and expose prints using sunli
 ght and UV sources. \n\nOn experimentation with form\, layering\, and var
 iations in exposure and washing\, participants understand how the process 
 responds to material and environmental conditions. \n\nThis programme is 
 in conjunction with MAP’s ongoing exhibition\, Paper Gardens: Art\, Bota
 ny and Empire.
