Zardosi embroidered dish cover depicting the Sun in the centre. The borders are heavily embroidered with running floral designs.

Zardosi embroidery work involves making elaborate designs, using gold and silver threads often studded with pearls and precious stones. Zardosi textiles were historically used to embellish the attire of kings and members of the royal family. They were also used to adorn the walls of royal tents, sword scabbards, and saddles of regal elephants and horses.
