Image of the goddess Kali, standing on her male consort Shiva.

Kali is shown four‑armed, blue‑skinned, dripping with blood, her tongue sticking out and with a mass of untied wavy black hair flowing loosely down her back. In her lower left hand, she holds a severed head. Corpses are lying in the background with crows and dogs licking blood from them. The background sky has been rendered in stripes of blue, pink and yellow.
